Four New Projects

Bergin Golf Designs is pleased to announce our engagement to work with the following golf courses:

The Honors Course, Chattanooga, TN

Bergin Golf Designs is designing a comprehensive renovation to the practice facilities.  The scope of work includes a major expansion of the practice range as well as a new 2.5 acre short game facility.  The short game facility will feature “situational practice,” recreating shots found around the greens complexes on the golf course.  When completed, over 13 acres will be dedicated to the enhanced practice area at The Honors Course.

Druid Hills Golf Club, Atlanta, GA

A complete bunker renovation is planned for Druid Hills.  Two holes will be finished this year, while the remaining work is scheduled for 2016.  Strategic positioning of the bunkers, improved collar blends and additional chipping areas will highlight Bergin’s planned design for Druid Hills.

Minnesota Valley Country Club, Bloomington, MN

Bergin Golf Designs has been selected to create a Master Plan for renovations to this 1924 Seth Raynor design.  Our plans call for a sympathetic restoration of the golf course, honoring its historical roots while bringing it up to modern day specifications.

Longleaf Golf & Family Club, Southern Pines, NC

The first phase of construction is about to start at Longleaf.  Recently purchased by U.S. Kids Golf, Longleaf will reflect the U.S. Kids Golf yardage philosophy, and will be a terrific course for all levels of golfers.  With a major expansion of the practice facilities along with a substantial course renovation, Bergin Golf Designs’ work will reposition Longleaf in the Pinehurst area marketplace.
