Over the last thirty years, Bergin has been involved in the planning and design of over 100 projects.
Highlighting Bergin Golf Designs’ Original Designs are The Keep at McLemore, with five cliff edged holes on Lookout Mountain; Country Club of Winter Haven, named as one of Golf Digest’s Best New Courses for 2014; Foxland at Tennessee Grasslands, a magnificent facility on Old Hickory Lake near Nashville, Tennessee, chosen as one of Golfweek’s 2009 Best New Courses; Chariot Run, of the Horseshoe Southern Indiana Casino and the #16 Best Casino Course in the US for 2013. In the last two years, Bergin Golf Designs has opened two brand new public facilities to immediate success, The Links at Audubon, in Memphis, Tennessee, and Pines Crossing, in Auburn, Alabama.
Bergin Golf Design’s renovation work features his acclaimed restoration of Chattanooga Golf & Country Club, a 1920’s Donald Ross design on the banks of the Tennessee River; Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club, highlighting the natural sandy dunes found along the gulf coast; Mirimichi, Justin Timberlake’s award winning and eco-friendly golf course in Memphis, selected as the #1 Best Course You Can Play in Tennessee by Golfweek for 2015; Oaks Country Club, an A.W. Tillinghast renovation in Tulsa, Oklahoma, selected by Golf Digest as the 4th Best Remodel in the U.S. for 2015; and Richland Country Club, in Nashville, TN, recognized with Renovation of the Year honors by both Golf Digest and Golf Inc. Noteworthy renovations also include a trifecta of golf courses chosen to host their respective State Amateur Championships: Pinetree CC in Georgia, Hoover CC in Alabama, and Chattanooga Golf & CC in Tennessee.
